Accountability

A group of women from my church have been doing the bible study  "War Room". In our first lesson we talked about mentors, the body of Christ and accountability partners. Before I could even finish the last prayer of the first study, God laid on my heart who my partner was going to be. So I contacted this friend of mine and made arrangements to meet her this morning for breakfast. As we talked this morning, we both realized that we need this more than ever. It always amazes me what God has in store for me. So goes the era of a new partner and where God wants us to go in our relationship with Him and each other.

My daughter

I have to tell ya about my daughter Melanie. She is amazing, I so look up to her. She has a wonderful relationship with God and she has made many morales and goals for herself. She just makes me so proud to be a mom.

Long weekend

So today is my second day of twelve hours. I have to say I am really tired today. I need to be a little more spunky. I am so focused on 6 tonight it is rediculas, I do not want to miss the fun I have with residents and Co workers. I will be grateful to have the next two days off. Tired!!!

Getting Older

I am realizing that as I approach another birthday that I am physically and mentally becoming  older. I have really seen changes in my body, mind and spirit that I never thought would happen. I am struggling a little bit with my age, never have I ever struggled with this. I pray that this subsides and I embrace where I am at in this season of my life.

Cassy

Saturday my daughter Melanie and I went  to a Baby shower for a co-worker. Cassy had decided to have a gender related party. As she cut into the cake to find out the gender of her baby, I could see the excitement in her. She picked up the cake to find out that she was having a girl, she looked at the cake and tears came to her eyes. It was awesome to be a part of her revelation. Congratulations to Dj and Cassy on their baby girl Elle Jo.
