My mother

Well tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I can not believe that it is here already. So I was thinking about my mother, she past away at the age of 51. I am now 46 and I wonder what as a mother I have accomplished. I am a mother of two and now a grandma. This just blows my mind, but it is not about numbers, but quality. Did I do what I needed to do to be the mom I needed to be. Are my children going to be successful in life or struggle. I need to just give the kids to God and trust that He has plans for them and I just need to be their prayer warrior. So I have to say God is my saving grace and He has us in His sights and what I think is not successful, God does. Happy Mother's Day to you all.

Relay For Life

June 6th I was graced to support a dear friend Lori with helping her with her booth at Relay for Life in Shenandoah,  Iowa. Lori is a cancer survivor and also her sister Diana.  I invited Denise and found out she was also a cancer survivor.  It was a really good day.

Ready for 2015

Well here it is a couple of days before New Years 2015. I am blown away at how fast 2014 went by and so much has happened. Our son got married in September and they are now expecting a baby in July. Our daughter turned 17 and she has grown to be a beautiful women. We helped start a new church and Jeff did his first sermon yesterday. We have grown to love our Pastor Ricky and church family. I stepped down from the Pregnancy Center and am focusing on our kids and job. I have been busy journaling, praying and reading the word, preparing for my next journey. And helping Melanie with Home schooling.
    I guess I can see why my year flew so fast. I pray that 2015 will be more memorable and full of great memories. 

Long weekend

This past weekend I worked 12 hour days both Saturday and Sunday.  I am just really tired. I have to tell ya I am so thankful c or my God!!! He gave me the strength to go on. Praise you my Jesus.

Some special gals

I have to tell you about a group of special friends. I have been going to a Bible Study on Friday night for sometime and I have blessed by some awesome and gifted ladies.  The last couple of years have been a blessing and I have seen God moving through these women. We had our Christmas party last night and I was so blessed by the sharing, the laughter and the safety and security of their presents.  I can not wait for this year and watching the growth in their lives and what God will do in my life!  Happy New Year and may you relationship with God grow and grow.
