Well, we finally got out to Washington for a family reunion. Jeff, Melanie, Nick and I. It has been real fun, I seen family members that I have not seen since I was a child. The fun part was taking Melanie around to see where I went to middle school and High school. Although everything has changes and at certain points it seemed overwhelming. All in all I am glad that that we made the trip. I will post more pictures later. For now, I am posting my most favorite spot in Everett., mulkiteo pier. Wnjoy.

My mother
Well tomorrow is Mother's Day, and I can not believe that it is here already. So I was thinking about my mother, she past away at the age of 51. I am now 46 and I wonder what as a mother I have accomplished. I am a mother of two and now a grandma. This just blows my mind, but it is not about numbers, but quality. Did I do what I needed to do to be the mom I needed to be. Are my children going to be successful in life or struggle. I need to just give the kids to God and trust that He has plans for them and I just need to be their prayer warrior. So I have to say God is my saving grace and He has us in His sights and what I think is not successful, God does. Happy Mother's Day to you all.

Accountability
A group of women from my church have been doing the bible study "War Room". In our first lesson we talked about mentors, the body of Christ and accountability partners. Before I could even finish the last prayer of the first study, God laid on my heart who my partner was going to be. So I contacted this friend of mine and made arrangements to meet her this morning for breakfast. As we talked this morning, we both realized that we need this more than ever. It always amazes me what God has in store for me. So goes the era of a new partner and where God wants us to go in our relationship with Him and each other.

Getting Older
I am realizing that as I approach another birthday that I am physically and mentally becoming older. I have really seen changes in my body, mind and spirit that I never thought would happen. I am struggling a little bit with my age, never have I ever struggled with this. I pray that this subsides and I embrace where I am at in this season of my life.

Cassy
Saturday my daughter Melanie and I went to a Baby shower for a co-worker. Cassy had decided to have a gender related party. As she cut into the cake to find out the gender of her baby, I could see the excitement in her. She picked up the cake to find out that she was having a girl, she looked at the cake and tears came to her eyes. It was awesome to be a part of her revelation. Congratulations to Dj and Cassy on their baby girl Elle Jo.

Romans 12:2
This year a group of friends and I are praying that the Lord would show us what area needs his attention. I have felt that he wants me to look at strongholds. My verse this year is Romans 12:2. Melanie wanted to get me something so I asked her to get this necklace for me. It even has a Sunflower on it.

Ready for 2015
Well here it is a couple of days before New Years 2015. I am blown away at how fast 2014 went by and so much has happened. Our son got married in September and they are now expecting a baby in July. Our daughter turned 17 and she has grown to be a beautiful women. We helped start a new church and Jeff did his first sermon yesterday. We have grown to love our Pastor Ricky and church family. I stepped down from the Pregnancy Center and am focusing on our kids and job. I have been busy journaling, praying and reading the word, preparing for my next journey. And helping Melanie with Home schooling.
I guess I can see why my year flew so fast. I pray that 2015 will be more memorable and full of great memories.

New year and new beginning
I am at awe at the fact that I am looking at a new year. This year will be filled with lots of milestones and new beginnings. This year I will be 44 years old, it usually does not bother me,and frankly it is not bothering me, except on how fast time seems to be speeding by me. I thought it was going fast when the kids were younger, but it is speeding by even faster. I am also realizing that as the years are speeding by, I feel like I am standing still? It is really weird, I am not sure what to think. And as I stand here holding my head and the earth is spinning, everyone is moving on with their lives. I am going to be a great aunt again times two, and possibly a wedding. My kids are growing up and making plans, Luke wants to go to Japan and Melanie is being pulled into some ministry and she has been such a social butterfly. I could not be more proud of my kids. Jeff and I are standing back and watching them make their way in this world. I am praying that God shows me some direction and growth, to hold Him dear to my heart and to really make some wise health choices. So here it is, my directions. I hope to get back into bloging my adventures this year. I hope to make new friends and write more. So here is to the new year!!!

Kathy Troccoli Concert
This is a picture of Pastor Ricky and Kathy, Kathy sang her Baby Prayer song and Ricky gave his testimony about how his birth mother gave him up for adoption in 1973. This was the same year that our government passed Roe vs. Wade. But that his mother chose life for him. And then Kathy got up there and prayed like you have never heard a person pray. The whole moment became a mini church moment and it was awesome.
This is a picture of Me, Kathy and Ricky. Jeff and I have been
attending Ricky's church for about five months now, we love it and God just speak through him. Of course we also love the fact that he teaches from the KJV bible and he stands on biblical truth. Thank you God for finding this church for us.
And of course, besides God's hand in getting Kathy here, I can not thank the Pregnancy Center board members for making this happen, and here we are, Dionne Johnson, Pastor Ricky, Pastor Alan, Kathy of course and myself, Tanya Ross. Not pictured is Pastor Caren Pederson.
If you are from Red Oak, IA or SW Iowa and you are reading this and you are facing an unwanted pregnancy, or back results of an abortion, whether you are a woman or man, please contact me at 712-621-7745, I would love to help you. God bless
